Ambry Genetics RCV004986810 SCV005472617 uncertain significance Cardiovascular phenotype 2024-10-29 criteria provided, single submitter clinical testing The p.M126I variant (also known as c.378G>A), located in coding exon 2 of the PCSK9 gene, results from a G to A substitution at nucleotide position 378. The methionine at codon 126 is replaced by isoleucine, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
